Booktalk will be held via Zoom on September 29 at 11:30 AM will be The Island of Sea Women by Lisa See. The novel takes place during the WWII Japanese occupation on a small Korean island where women dove deep into the ocean for sea food and treasures. They were traditionally the main breadwinners for their families as the fathers cared for the children and the home. Contact the Church Office if you would like to be invited to this Zoom discussion. The Louisville Free Public Library continues to have their holdings available through electronic means and Carmichael’s has home delivery of books ordered through them.

Outdoor Witness to Racial Justice SAVE THE DATE! Sunday, October 4, 2020 has been chosen as the day the Presbyterian churches of our Presbytery will gather on their lawns for an Outdoor Witness to Racial Justice. Adults, youth, and children are encouraged to create signs and/or banners. We will participate in a liturgy lasting 8 minutes and 46 seconds – socially distanced, of course – in the shade at the front of our church. You can bring a blanket or chair. Together, yet 6 feet apart, we will bear witness to our faith in this challenging time.
