This powerful and timely book invites readers to consider what it means to follow Christ in the midst of suffering, injustice, and war, offering a Palestinian Christian perspective on the ongoing crisis in Gaza and the West Bank. Our discussion on November 1 at 4:00 p.m. comes at a particularly meaningful time, with several opportunities in Louisville to engage these questions together.
On Friday, October 30, Louisville Presbyterian Theological Seminary will host an evening conversation with a panel of scholars, pastors, and activists exploring Christian Zionism, in conjunction with its Fall Board of Directors meeting. The following morning, Saturday October 31, Mid-Kentucky Presbytery will host a panel discussion on faithful Christian responses to the ongoing crisis in Gaza and the West Bank. Harvey Browne may also host a speaker on November 1 following worship; more information will be shared as plans develop.
