Wednesday Nights at Harvey Browne

Wednesday Nights are kicked off with dinner catered most weeks by Kingsley Meats and Catering. The meal is served buffet style and most weeks includes a green salad bar, assorted desserts, and a kid’s table with makings for peanut butter and jelly sandwiches. The cost for the meal is $10/adult, $5/child with a $25 family cap. Menus are published in the weekly Highlights email and Good News to Go. 

Children’s Choirs | 6:00pm

There are two children’s choirs. The Lyric Choir is for children ages 4 years old through first grade. In this choir children learn music basics in a fun and engaging way. The Westminster Choir is for children in second through fifth grade. In this choir children learn more advanced music and play Orff instruments. Children sing throughout the year in worship. 

Chancel Handbell Choir Rehearsal | 6:00pm

The intergenerational Chancel Handbell Choir rehearses in the sanctuary weekly. The choir is made up of youth eighth grade and older and adults.

Bible Study | 6:15pm | Room 208

This weekly Bible study is discussion based and studies the Bible passage for the coming Sunday.

Bookanalia | 6:15pm | Session Room

This monthly book club reads a variety of books, fiction and non-fiction. They meet on the third Wednesday of the month in the Session room and on Zoom. Check the Highlights email for upcoming books. 

Compassion in Action| 6:15pm | Session Room

This monthly group will serve as a class to cultivate the skills and techniques necessary to engage in effective and sustained action to alleviate the suffering caused by broken and corrupt systems. The group will meet on the second Wednesday of the month. 

Chancel Choir Rehearsal | 7:00pm

The adult choir rehearses in the sanctuary weekly.
