“Healing a World of Wounds” with Rev. Dr. Patricia K. Tull

April 6 @ 9:30 am - 10:15 am

In three sessions on March 30, April 6, and April 13, we will discuss the biblical and theological basis for Christians to see ourselves as deeply related to the natural world as well as to God and humans. We can grow in joy, using our God-given skills and interests to address the multiple ecological crises our generation faces today. Class will meet in the Session Room.

This adult Sunday school class will be taught by Rev. Dr. Patricia K. Tull. The Rev. Dr. Patricia K. Tull is A.B. Rhodes Professor Emerita of Old Testament at Louisville Presbyterian Seminary, an environmental theologian, and author of Inhabiting Eden: Christians, the Bible, and the Ecological Crisis (2013) and Let Justice Roll Down: God’s Call to Care for Neighbors and All Creation (2024-2025 Horizons Bible Study). She’s a 2016 recipient of the Presbyterians for Earth Care William Gibson Eco-Justice Award for faith-based environmental work.
