The Harvey Browne Chancel Choir will present Light of Peace: Celtic Carols for Christmas by Karen Marrolli as a part of 10:30 a.m. worship on Sunday, December 22, 2024.
This newly released composition weaves together familiar hymns and carol tunes from Irish and Scottish traditions with popular Celtic folk tunes, reels, and airs. Accompaniment for the
choral movements will include Irish Fiddle, Flute and Hand Drum. Marrolli has also written some new texts for these traditional tunes, texts that suggest that our proper response to the Christmas Story might be to live out a life of love in action.
